Excavator Bucket
The primary digging attachment for excavators, available in specialized designs for different materials and applications.
Excavator buckets are the most common attachment, designed for digging, loading, and moving materials. Bucket selection depends on the carrier machine weight class, target material, and application requirements.
Common bucket types:
- **General Purpose (GP)**: All-around digging in mixed conditions
- **Heavy Duty (HD)**: Reinforced for harder materials
- **Extreme Duty (XHD)**: Maximum wear protection for rock/quarry
- **Grading/Ditching**: Wide, smooth-edge for final grade work
- **Skeleton/Screening**: Gaps for material separation
- **Trenching**: Narrow profile for utility work
- **Tilting**: Adjustable angle for grading without repositioning
Key specifications:
- **Width**: Overall cutting width
- **Capacity**: Heaped or struck volume (m³)
- **Weight**: Important for carrier matching
- **Pin spacing**: Must match carrier or coupler
Sieruta manufactures buckets for 2.5T to 50T+ excavators, with Hardox wear packages and optional tooth systems (ESCO, CAT, Komatsu).
