Product Identification
Each Sieruta attachment includes a permanent identification plate with: Model number, Serial number, Manufacturing date, Maximum operating weight, CE marking.
Intended Use
Sieruta attachments are designed exclusively for use with hydraulic excavators within specified weight classes. Use only for material handling, earthmoving, or demolition operations as specified per product category.
Safety Warnings
- Always verify attachment is compatible with carrier machine
- Inspect attachment before each use for wear, damage, or deformation
- Never exceed rated capacity or operating weight
- Ensure all personnel are clear of swing radius during operation
- Never use attachment for lifting persons
- Shut down machine before inspecting or servicing attachment
Installation
- Verify pin dimensions match carrier machine specifications
- Ensure quick coupler (if used) is rated for attachment weight
- Connect hydraulic lines if applicable (tilt, rotate, grapple)
- Verify all connections are secure before operation
- Perform function test at low speed before full operation
Maintenance Schedule
- Daily: Visual inspection, check for loose pins, hydraulic leaks
- Weekly: Grease all pivot points, check wear plate thickness
- Monthly: Inspect cutting edges, teeth, check bolt torque
- Annually: Full inspection by qualified personnel, NDT if required
Wear Limits
Replace cutting edges when worn to 50% of original thickness. Replace teeth when point is worn to body width. Replace wear plates when thickness is reduced by 30%.
Disposal & Recycling
At end of service life, Sieruta attachments should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations. Steel components (Hardox, Strenx, structural steel) are 100% recyclable.
- Remove hydraulic fluids and dispose at authorized facilities
- Separate rubber/polymer components from steel
- Recycle steel at authorized scrap metal facility
